9-year-old’s jaw-dropping performance of ‘Girl on Fire’ leaves judges in awe, earns Golden Buzzer

Angelica Hale, a nine-year-old girl, captured hearts and went viral with her breathtaking rendition of “Rise Up” by Andre Day during her audition on America’s Got Talent. She advanced to the next round with a calm and collected demeanor, determined to give it her all.

Dressed in a pink dress, flared denim vest, and purple lace-up sneakers, Angelica looked like any other girl her age – simply adorable. But when she stepped up to the microphone and began singing Alicia Keys’ “Girl on Fire,” the judges and audience were blown away by her commanding voice.

Even the usually harsh Simon Cowell was left speechless, admitting he was nervous before her performance and was proven completely wrong. Chris Hardwick had the biggest reaction of any judge on the show, yelling in amazement and hitting the Golden Buzzer, showering Angelica with sparkling confetti.

Angelica’s journey to America’s Got Talent was an emotional one – when she was just four years old, she battled double pneumonia and kidney failure, but her mother’s donation saved her life. Her story, combined with her incredible talent, made her a fan favorite and a true inspiration.
