Roberta Battaglia, a 10-year-old girl from Toronto, Canada, had always aspired to perform on America’s Got Talent, and her dream was finally fulfilled when she delivered a powerful audition that left the judges and the audience stunned.
Her voice was inherited from her father, who is an engineer for a local radio station. It appears that the genes of her father are mighty, as Roberta possesses a magnificent voice, which she showcased by performing “Shallow,” the famous Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper duet.
The judges and audience were thrilled, giving Roberta a standing ovation. Sofia Vergara, a star from Modern Family, praised Roberta’s performance, calling it “breathtaking” and awarded her the golden buzzer, sending her straight through to the live show rounds.
